Student researchers have made invaluable contributions to the rich body of research behind the Over-the-Rhine Museum. For this event, we’re excited to welcome three university students who will share compelling stories and insights uncovered through their research at the Over-the-Rhine Museum. Elizabeth Coleman will explore Cincinnati’s stone carving tradition including the work of Leopold Fettweis; Isabella Evans will introduce the city’s vibrant circus history; and Lily Theders will present her project on midwives in Over-the-Rhine.

We’re shining a spotlight on some of Over-the-Rhine’s historic theaters—their origins, the buildings they call home, and what’s next for these iconic performance spaces.

On December 18th, the Over-the-Rhine Museum will present Three Acts: Snapshots of Over-the-Rhine. This event will take place in Memorial Hall. Doors open at 6:00 PM and the program will begin at 6:30 PM. This unique edition of Three Acts is about our FotoFocus exhibition and the stories behind it. What was it like to grow up and raise a family in Over-the-Rhine between 1960 and 2001? Five co-curators tell their stories through personal photographs in our exhibition.
